For Authors

Author Information

Everything you need to know about getting your publishing deal, our editorial process, and what it means to be published by LeMay Publishing.

Your Publishing Deal

LeMay Publishing accepts direct submissions from authors in ten publication categories encompassing one hundred category domains. You submit your finished manuscript — your best and final draft — through our publishing portal. We accept PDF, DOCX, and plain text formats.

Upon submission, you provide your name, the title of your work, the relevant category and category domain, and a synopsis of no more than two thousand characters. There is no query letter. There is no proposal. There is no pitch. You submit the work itself, and the work speaks for itself.

The Three Deliverables

Within fourteen days of submission, you will receive three deliverables from our editorial team:

Deliverable One: Your Original Manuscript. Returned to you untouched, exactly as you submitted it. This serves as the baseline for comparison.

Deliverable Two: The LeMay Enhanced Edition. Your work, transformed by our editorial team into its most commercially powerful form. Your voice preserved, your ideas intact, your story unchanged in substance — but refined for commercial success.

Deliverable Three: The Market Performance Forecast. A formal document that compares the projected market performance of your original manuscript against the Enhanced Edition across every critical metric — projected unit sales, revenue, royalties, reader completion rate, recommendation rate, review sentiment, and search ranking. The Enhanced Edition dominates the original across every dimension. The numbers make the decision for themselves.

The Editorial Enhancement

Our editorial team conducts a comprehensive review of every accepted manuscript, addressing structure, prose quality, and commercial readiness. The result is the LeMay Enhanced Edition — your work, elevated to its commercial peak while preserving your voice, your ideas, and your story.

Global Reach

When you publish with LeMay, your work reaches the world. Every publication is natively originated in twenty-seven language markets covering 5.6 billion consumers. Your fifty percent royalty applies to every language edition. One manuscript. Twenty-seven markets. One publishing deal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a literary agent to submit?

No. LeMay Publishing does not accept agent-represented submissions. You submit directly, and we work with you directly.

What does it cost to submit?

Nothing. There is no submission fee, no reading fee, and no editorial fee. LeMay Publishing bears all costs of editorial enhancement and production.

What if I want to keep my original version?

You always retain your original manuscript. The Enhanced Edition is offered as an alternative for publication. If you prefer your original, you may decline the enhancement.

How are royalties paid?

Royalties are calculated monthly and paid within thirty days of the close of each calendar month via Stripe Connect. You have full visibility into your sales data across all formats and language editions.

Can I terminate the agreement?

Yes. Either party may terminate upon ninety days' written notice. Upon termination, all publishing rights revert to you.

What categories do you publish?

Books, Periodicals & Magazines, Technical Documentation, Academic & Research, Medical, Healthcare Innovations, Patents & Disclosures, Educational, Whitepapers & Case Studies, and Legal & Policy — encompassing one hundred category domains.

How does native origination work?

Every accepted publication is originated natively in twenty-seven language markets. This is not translation — our editorial team generates each language edition as a native work, written with the cultural conventions, literary traditions, and idioms of each market. Your fifty percent royalty applies to every edition.
